Treasury
Editorial Standards
Treasury holds its markets and economics coverage to the standard of a serious financial desk. These principles govern what we publish and how.
Sourcing & provenance
Every report is built on primary sources (filings, official statistics, company statements, and named reporting) and links back to them. Figures and quotes are attributed to their origin. We distinguish confirmed facts from speculation in the text.
Independence & neutrality
We are market-neutral. We report on companies, instruments, and policy without endorsing positions. We do not publish forecasts as fact, and nothing we publish is investment, legal, or tax advice. Coverage is never influenced by whether a firm advertises with us.
Accuracy & corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and note the change. Markets move on information; we treat that responsibility seriously.
Disclosure
Where a conflict could reasonably be perceived, we disclose it. Sponsored or partner content is labeled as such and kept distinct from editorial reporting.
