Conquest Planning and Shaping Wealth announced a Conquest Lydia integration that embeds Shaping Wealth’s AI-powered behavioral intelligence agent directly into the Conquest platform. The companies said the add-on is designed to pair financial planning analysis with coaching tools that help advisors communicate recommendations to clients.

The integration brings Lydia into the same workflow as Conquest’s Strategic Advice Manager, known as SAM, and SAM Guide. According to Conquest, SAM analyzes client financial data, identifies recommendations using its proprietary AI expert system and deterministic calculation engine, and supports advisors in developing financial strategies.

Lydia adds a behavioral layer to that process. Shaping Wealth describes the tool as an AI agent built to support behavioral intelligence, communication coaching and meeting preparation for wealth management professionals.

What does the Conquest Lydia integration do for advisors?

The companies said Lydia will be available as an add-on within Conquest, allowing advisors to use it without switching between applications. Inside the advisor workflow, Lydia can answer questions, provide in-the-moment behavioral coaching, help prepare for meetings, support role-play for difficult client discussions and assist with follow-up communications.

Conquest and Shaping Wealth said Lydia can also deliver context-aware coaching tailored to a firm’s language, values, products and prior client interactions. The stated aim is to help advisors address emotionally complex conversations and present financial guidance in ways clients can understand and act on.

Behavioral intelligence in wealth management refers to tools and practices that account for how clients make decisions under uncertainty, stress or changing life circumstances. In this context, Lydia is intended to help advisors consider the human factors that may affect whether a client accepts or follows through on a financial recommendation.

Brad Joudrie, chief executive of Conquest, said in the announcement that a financial plan creates value only if clients are prepared to act on it. He said combining Conquest’s engine and SAM Guide with Lydia’s behavioral intelligence gives advisors a broader toolset for identifying recommendations and communicating them to clients.

Brian Portnoy, founder and chief executive of Shaping Wealth, said financial advice depends on both analytical work and human connection. He said the partnership brings Conquest’s recommendation technology and Lydia’s communication support into one workflow.

The announcement also included comments from Sherri Wright-Schwietz, senior vice president for advisory services at ATB Securities Inc. She said ATB Wealth’s approach combines expert advice with relationship-based holistic wealth planning, and said the use of Conquest and Shaping Wealth would help its advisors move beyond numerical planning by incorporating behavioral insights.

The companies did not disclose commercial terms for the integration. The announcement described Lydia as an add-on to the Conquest platform, but did not provide pricing, rollout timing or customer adoption figures.
