Neighbors Bank said it ranked No. 1,813 on the 2026 Inc. 5000, its first appearance on Inc.’s annual list of fast-growing private US companies. The Neighbors Bank Inc. 5000 announcement places a digital-first mortgage lender with operations in 49 states and Washington, DC, on a ranking determined by percentage revenue growth from 2022 through 2025.
The Columbia, Missouri-headquartered lender announced the result on August 11. Its release did not disclose its revenue, its revenue-growth percentage or an official Inc. listing for the company.
What is Neighbors Bank’s Inc. 5000 ranking?
Neighbors Bank reported a national ranking of No. 1,813. The Inc. 5000 methodology cited in the announcement compares companies by percentage revenue growth over a three-year period, rather than by the size of their revenue base.
Under the eligibility rules described in the announcement, entrants had to be US-based, privately held, for-profit and independent, rather than subsidiaries or divisions. They also had to have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2022, with the ownership-status test applied as of December 31, 2025.
The placement offers a limited measure of the lender’s reported expansion because the materials do not provide the financial figures behind the ranking. A GlobeNewswire-attributed version of the announcement published by The Manila Times repeats the reported rank and methodology, but does not add underlying revenue data.
How does the lender’s mortgage business serve first-time buyers?
According to Neighbors Bank’s announcement, it has closed more than 15,000 purchase loans and 74% of those loans went to first-time homebuyers. The reported mix provides context for a lender whose business is focused on purchase mortgages, although it does not establish which products or borrower groups accounted for the revenue growth used in the Inc. ranking.
The bank says it offers USDA, FHA, VA and down-payment-assistance loan options. Those government-backed and low-to-no-down-payment offerings form part of the mortgage lender’s national loan options, alongside its operations across 49 states and Washington, DC.
Mortgage lenders arrange financing for home purchases and earn revenue through their lending operations and related services. Inc.’s growth calculation, as described in the announcement, captures the change in revenue across the 2022-25 period; it does not by itself identify the source of that change.
Neighbors Bank says it employs 344 people in 28 states and has a fully remote workforce. The company, founded in Clarence, Missouri, in 1945, describes its current model as a national digital-first mortgage business headquartered in Columbia.
Jake Vehige, the lender’s president of mortgage lending, characterized the recognition as a reflection of the company’s effort to help more families pursue homeownership. The announcement does not provide comparative data on other lenders, loan performance or the wider mortgage market.
