FinScan, the anti-money laundering and sanctions screening platform from Innovative Systems, has completed LSEG Risk Intelligence’s technology validation process for an integration with World-Check On Demand. The companies said the milestone makes the integration go-to-market ready, giving financial institutions a way to use LSEG risk intelligence from inside FinScan’s screening environment.

The validation covers whether the connection to World-Check On Demand meets LSEG’s technical standards and best-practice guidance, according to the announcement. For banks, fintechs and other regulated firms, the practical effect is that risk data can be embedded into existing screening workflows rather than accessed through a separate process.

World-Check On Demand is part of LSEG Risk Intelligence’s screening data offering. FinScan said its integration is intended to support sanctions and watchlist screening, as well as broader compliance coverage across regulatory regimes in multiple markets.

Priya Nallan, head of product, screening at LSEG Risk Intelligence, said LSEG’s process uses technical validation to assess whether partner integrations fit World-Check On Demand’s architecture, data delivery standards and operational practices. She said FinScan is now recognised as a technology partner able to deliver World-Check On Demand within AML and sanctions screening workflows.

AML and sanctions screening systems typically compare customer, counterparty or transaction data against external lists and risk datasets. An integrated model lets screening software call on risk intelligence within the same operational flow used by compliance teams, which can reduce handoffs and help institutions maintain more consistent controls.

Deborah Overdeput, chief operating officer at Innovative Systems, described the completed validation as a milestone for the partnership and its customers. She said the process confirms FinScan’s alignment with LSEG integration standards and readiness to deliver World-Check On Demand through the FinScan platform.

According to FinScan, organisations using the integration can access LSEG World-Check On Demand directly within FinScan workflows, strengthen sanctions and watchlist screening, reduce operational friction through a more streamlined connection, and expand compliance coverage across global regulatory regimes.

The company also said the completion places FinScan among the first screening technology providers to finish the full World-Check On Demand technical validation process. FinScan characterised that position as an early-market advantage as demand increases for combined screening technology and risk intelligence, though it did not disclose customer numbers, financial terms or implementation timelines.

Overdeput said joint teams and customers have shown significant interest in systems that combine screening technology with risk data. She added that the validated integration is intended to give FinScan customers confidence that the connection conforms to LSEG standards and supplies information used by compliance teams.

The announcement falls within a broader compliance technology market in which financial institutions are under pressure to monitor sanctions exposure, financial crime risks and watchlist matches across jurisdictions. The companies did not announce any changes to ownership, pricing or product availability beyond the go-to-market status of the validated integration.
