TS Imagine has expanded its workflow connection with Trumid, giving clients of the cross-asset trading and risk technology provider broader access to Trumid’s fixed-income electronic trading platform. The companies said the integration adds wider use of list-based workflows, more automation for RFQ activity and access to execution tools that can operate across multiple Trumid protocols.
The update is aimed at institutional fixed-income desks that use TS Imagine systems for trading, portfolio, risk management or prime brokerage workflows and want to reach Trumid liquidity without moving between separate platforms. Trumid is a financial technology company focused on electronic trading in fixed income.
What the integration adds
TS Imagine clients can now connect to Trumid’s RFQ network through automated workflows, including RFQ Auto-Submit through Trumid AutoPilot for RFQ, the companies said. The integration also supports API-driven execution, allowing trading instructions and responses to move between systems without manual re-entry.
The expanded workflow includes headless RFQ responder, initiator and voice inquiry workflows. In a headless setup, the user interface does not have to be the primary point of interaction, which can allow trading functions to be embedded into a client’s existing order or execution process.
Clients also gain access to Trumid Full Self Trading, or FST, which Trumid describes as an automated cross-protocol execution capability. The tool connects liquidity and execution opportunities across Trumid RFQ and Swarms, according to the announcement. The companies said expansion to Trumid Attributed Trading, which covers firm dealer streams, is planned for the second half of 2026.
TS Imagine and Trumid first connected their platforms in 2020. That earlier integration included support for Trumid’s Fair Value Model Price, or FVMP, a predictive pricing model for corporate bonds, according to the companies.
Portfolio trading and RFQ usage rise
Alexis Sainte Marie, fixed income product at TS Imagine, said the broader Trumid relationship was intended to give TS Imagine clients “greater access to liquidity and workflow automation.” Sainte Marie said TS Imagine had seen growth in portfolio trading and RFQ activity and would continue working with Trumid to improve trading opportunities for customers.
Jason Quinn, Trumid’s chief product officer and global head of sales, said mutual clients were benefiting from the TS Imagine integration as adoption of Trumid’s list-based workflows increased. Quinn said clients were using multiple Trumid trading protocols, creating further scope for the two companies to expand their relationship.
Trumid said its list protocols recorded strong growth in the second quarter of 2026. Trumid RFQ average daily volume rose 122% from a year earlier, while automated trade volumes executed through Trumid AutoPilot for RFQ more than doubled, according to the company.
Trumid also reported that portfolio trading volume increased about 40% year over year in the same quarter. The company said the protocol reached its highest quarterly average daily volume, alongside record levels of buy-side participation and lists traded.
