O2 Investment Partners names Micah Dawson operating partner
Dawson joins the Bloomfield Hills private equity firm after roles at Trivest Partners, HBM Holdings and Tru-Flex, according to PE Hub.

O2 Investment Partners has appointed Micah Dawson as an operating partner, PE Hub reported. The personnel move adds a senior operating role at the Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based private equity firm, which PE Hub said was founded in 2010.
Dawson joins O2 after serving as head of the portfolio support group at Trivest Partners, according to PE Hub. Before that, he spent two years at HBM Holdings, where his work focused on mergers and acquisitions, PE Hub reported.
PE Hub said Dawson later moved directly into Tru-Flex, a portfolio company of HBM Holdings. The report did not include further details on Dawson’s responsibilities at Tru-Flex or the terms of his appointment at O2.
Operating partner roles in private equity generally sit alongside investment teams and portfolio company management, with a focus on operational execution and value creation. PE Hub did not disclose which O2 portfolio companies or sectors Dawson will work with in the new role.
O2 Investment Partners is headquartered in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. PE Hub identified the firm as having been established in 2010.
