Wildflower Health, a San Francisco-based women’s health company backed by Truehelm, has acquired Every Mother, a New York City digital program for pelvic floor and core health, PE Hub reported. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The deal brings Every Mother’s maternity and women’s pelvic health platform into Wildflower Health’s business. Every Mother provides digital support for women during pregnancy, after childbirth and beyond, according to PE Hub.

Wildflower Health operates as a tech-enabled women’s health company. The acquisition extends its stated focus in maternal care into a specialized area that includes core and pelvic health, a category tied to prenatal preparation and postpartum recovery.

Leah Sparks, Wildflower Health’s founder and chief executive, said the transaction is intended to make these services more accessible during pregnancy and recovery. “Mothers shouldn’t have to act as their own care coordinators during one of the most physically demanding chapters of their lives,” Sparks said. “For too long, prenatal prep and postpartum recovery have been treated as optional or secondary. Together, we are making specialized core and pelvic health a standard, easily accessible resource, which elevates the quality of maternal care and improves long-term outcomes.”

Every Mother was founded in 2018. Allison Rapaport is the company’s founder and chief executive, according to PE Hub.

Deal focus

The acquisition sits within women’s health, a healthcare segment where digital delivery is often used to broaden access to care programs outside traditional clinical settings. In this case, the acquired business is described as a digital program rather than a clinic, insurer or provider group.

PE Hub did not report the purchase price or other financial terms. It also did not disclose transaction structure, revenue figures, investor returns or any changes to management following the deal.

For Wildflower Health, the announced rationale centers on integrating specialized core and pelvic health into maternal care. For Every Mother, the transaction places its program inside a Truehelm-backed company already focused on technology-enabled women’s health.
