Angeles names Kyle Huffman finance vice president in operations group

Angeles Equity Group has appointed Kyle Huffman as vice president of finance for its operations group, PE Hub reported. No transaction value, fund data or other financial metrics were disclosed in connection with the personnel move.

The role places Huffman within the firm’s operations function, the part of a private equity platform typically associated with portfolio-level execution and functional support. PE Hub identified the appointment as a people move in the financial services category.

Huffman joins after serving as chief accounting officer at Elauwit Connection, according to PE Hub. The report did not provide details on his tenure there or the scope of that role.

Before Elauwit, Huffman worked on the operations team at MiddleGround Capital, PE Hub reported. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance leadership posts at SPAN.IO and The Andersons.

PE Hub also reported that Huffman began his career in Ernst & Young’s Assurance practice. Assurance work at accounting firms generally involves audit and related financial reporting services, though PE Hub did not describe Huffman’s specific assignments at EY.

The appointment adds a finance executive with experience across accounting, operations and corporate finance roles to Angeles’ operations group. PE Hub did not report additional changes to the firm’s leadership team.
