Enlightenment Capital backs government affairs software firm Quorum
PE Hub reported that Enlightenment Capital made an undisclosed investment in Quorum, a Washington-based government affairs platform founded in 2014.

Enlightenment Capital has invested in Quorum, a Washington, DC-based technology company serving the government affairs market, according to PE Hub. The parties did not disclose financial terms, leaving the transaction size, ownership stake and valuation undisclosed.
PE Hub reported that the new capital is intended to support Quorum’s product development plans and broaden its agentic AI capabilities. Agentic AI generally refers to systems designed to carry out multi-step tasks with a degree of autonomy, although PE Hub did not provide details on the specific functions Quorum plans to add or expand.
Quorum was founded in 2014 and is led by Alex Wirth, its chief executive officer and co-founder, according to PE Hub. The company’s platform is used by more than 2,000 organizations, including more than half of the Fortune 100, PE Hub reported.
The investment places Enlightenment Capital in a segment of the software market tied to public policy, regulation and institutional engagement with government. Government affairs platforms are used by organizations that need to track policy developments and manage related workflows, although PE Hub did not describe Quorum’s individual products in detail.
No additional transaction participants, advisers or governance changes were disclosed in the PE Hub report. The timing of the investment was also not accompanied by any reported financial metrics for Quorum, such as revenue, profitability or customer growth.
